Tony LeBlanc Work with me

I didn't plan to build a group of companies. I found one hiding inside the first.

How one company became a group

Three years into the property management company, I was bored. I asked myself: is this it? Then I noticed a line item: over $250,000 a year on landscaping and snow removal. So we bought a landscaping and snow removal franchise. Three years later, it was twice the size of the property management company.

2010โ€“2012

Foundation

  • 2010 A property management company. Everything else came out of it.
  • 2011 Our own maintenance team, working only on the properties we managed.
  • 2012 An investment company, buying apartment buildings.

What it taught meA working service business is not the destination. It's the starting point.

2013โ€“2018

Integration

  • 2013 The landscaping and snow removal franchise: our first real vertical integration, and our first outside clients.
  • 2018 Concrete and appliance repair businesses, working mostly for outside clients.

What it taught meEach one started the same way: a cost, a dependency, a vendor we relied on. Each one became a business.

2019โ€“2026

Teaching and multiplying

  • 2019 My first book, Doorpreneur, and coaching for property managers.
  • 2023 Renovations, plumbing and handyman services, opened to outside clients.
  • 2026 AI development consulting for the trades.

What it taught meI didn't start over. I didn't exit. I built around what I already had. That's the idea behind everything I teach.

2027 Next: the second book, Built to Multiply.

Alongside the group: a stake in a pest control company, and my own work as a commercial realtor.

The goal is not a bigger business. It's a portfolio of real companies, each one able to stand on its own.
What I believe

What we run on: ROGG

Relationships

The group runs on people: the owners we work for, our team, and the business owners I coach.

Ownership

If we're paying someone else for work our customers create, we look at doing it ourselves.

Growth

One company in 2010. We kept building from there, one company at a time.

Grit

Not everything works. We learn from it and keep building.

Where I am now

I still run the company where it all started.

Today I play four roles across the group.

  • CEOI'm the hands-on CEO of the property management company.
  • PartnerA partner leads each of the other businesses alongside me.
  • VisionaryI spot the next opportunity and get it built.
  • TeacherI share what we've built and learned through the next book, coaching, and AI consulting for the trades.

It's come full circle. I started my career in software, then became a property manager and business owner. Now I get to do both, in the industry I love.
